How to ask

SkipTrack accounts are created by your employer, a skip bin hire business using the SkipTrack platform. There is no sign-up in the app, so there is no delete button in it either. You can ask in either of two ways:

• Ask your employer or office administrator to remove you.
• Email support@skiptrack.app from the email address on your account, with your name and the company you drive for. We use that address to confirm the request is yours.

We respond within 30 days.

What we delete

Within 30 days of a confirmed request, SkipTrack:

• disables your login, so you can no longer sign in;
• deletes your profile photo;
• deletes the push notification registrations for your phones and any browsers;
• deletes your last-known location;
• de-identifies your profile: your name, email address, phone numbers, username and licence details are removed or replaced.

What we keep, and why

Timesheets, pay records, and the job and payment records that carry your work history are kept for 7 years. Australian workplace and tax record-keeping rules require your employer to hold them, and SkipTrack holds them on the employer's behalf. After the steps above these records no longer carry your name or any contact details.
